Al Wataniah
Modern Emirati oriental perfumery at mid-market prices.
Al Wataniah, whose name means "my country" in Arabic, was founded in Dubai in 2012 under the ABC Fragrances group. The house frames itself as a homage to Emirati cultural heritage, working in the modern oriental vocabulary that defines mid-tier Khaleeji perfumery: oud, ambergris, vanilla, musk, saffron, and concentrated rose, often in mukhallat-style blends. The catalogue splits across three lines. The Classic line tracks traditional attar registers; Eternal targets contemporary occasion-wear; the Niche line collects rare or limited materials at higher price points. Sabah Al Ward, Ain Emarat, and Massad Royale are among the bestsellers, and Eternal Qasr Al Watan won a Cosmoprof Best New Fragrance award in 2023. The house slots between the small souk attar makers and the polished international Emirati houses like Ajmal and Swiss Arabian. It suits wearers building a Middle Eastern collection without ultra-niche pricing.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
