AlBidaa
Qatari niche, traditional khaltas plus numbered series.
AlBidaa is a Qatari luxury house under the Albidaa Group that released its entire fragrance collection in 2023, presenting two parallel series: a numbered khaltas range rooted in Gulf attar tradition and a numbered EDP series. The launch involved three European fine-fragrance perfumers — Pierre-Constantin Guéros, Aliénor Massenet, and Yazid Rabbakhi — bringing Symrise-trained technical expertise to compositions that honour Qatari cultural preferences for rich, resinous, and woody accords while reaching toward the international niche market. The Albidaa Group operates across multiple luxury categories including leather goods, eyewear, and fashion for the Qatari and GCC market, with a management office in London at 167-169 Great Portland Street. The fragrance line reflects a broader Gulf tendency toward presenting luxury as a cultural statement, blending traditional oud and musk heritage with contemporary French parfumerie construction. With thirty fragrances launched simultaneously in its debut year, AlBidaa entered the market with an unusually large portfolio, signalling investment in establishing the brand as a comprehensive fragrance house rather than a boutique operation. Distribution extends within Qatar and to international luxury retail.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
