Anfas Al Khaleej
From Dubai to the world.
Anfas Al Khaleej was established in Dubai in 2000, initially representing fragrance manufacturers from around the world in the Gulf market before evolving into an independent perfume house in its own right. By 2002 the company had pivoted toward creating original compositions rooted in the deep study of Arabic essential oils and traditional Arabian olfactory culture, choosing Dubai as its permanent headquarters. The name translates roughly as "breaths of the Gulf," and the brand's creative philosophy aims to bridge the ancient art of Arabian perfumery — encompassing oud, bakhoor, and concentrated attars — with the tastes of a contemporary global audience. Under the chairmanship of Ammar Bakri, Anfas Al Khaleej opened retail locations and began exporting internationally in 2013, expanding its presence across the Middle East and into European markets. The house positions itself as a keeper of Gulf fragrance heritage, sourcing natural essential oils with an emphasis on authenticity and craftsmanship.
