Angel Schlesser
Angel Schlesser founded his Madrid fashion house in 1984 and launched its first fragrance, Femme, in 1999, in collaboration with Spanish perfume group Puig. The brand sits in the lighter, more transparent end of designer scent — colognes built on citrus, white florals, fig, and clean musks rather than the heavier orientals associated with Iberian houses of the same era. The perfume catalogue has been issued under several distributors over the years, currently through Antonio Puig and its successor licensees, and the line favours steady reissues over headline launches. The bottles — slim, frosted-glass slabs — have remained largely unchanged since the late 1990s, giving the range a coherent visual signature even as the fashion arm has moved between owners. Schlesser himself stepped back from day-to-day design in the 2010s.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
