Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية
Arabian perfumery from Dubai
Ard Al Zaafaran is a Dubai perfume house founded in 1985 and named after saffron, the spice whose golden threads it treats as a symbol of Emirati craftsmanship. The company built its reputation on attars, mukhallats and concentrated oils before expanding into Western-style eaux de parfum and body sprays for the export market. The house's catalogue is wide and steadily reinvented: oriental blends built around oud, amber, rose and saffron sit alongside fresh aquatic and sweet gourmand sprays aimed at younger buyers. Hits like Teef Al Hub and Oud 24 Hours brought the brand recognition well beyond the Gulf, and bottles now circulate through perfume bazaars across Asia, Africa and Europe. Production is centered in Dubai, with distribution primarily through Middle Eastern souks and online specialists who supply collectors of accessibly priced Arabian perfumery.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
