Atelier Des Ors
Belle parfumerie, gilded in 24-carat gold.
Atelier des Ors is a French niche house founded in 2015 by Jean-Philippe Clermont and based at Villa Primerose, a historic 1886 building in Grasse. Clermont, a longtime admirer of the haute parfumerie of the 1920s and 1930s, set out to build a maison around what he calls Belle Parfumerie — opulent, materials-led compositions in the classical French mode. The house's signature gesture is literal: 24-carat gold flakes are suspended in every bottle, applied by hand. The compositions, many co-developed with Marie Salamagne of dsm-firmenich, lean into rich orientals, white floral chypres, and gilded gourmands — Aube Rubis, Rose Omeyyade, Larmes du Desert — built for slow, statement wear. Distribution runs through high-end niche retailers and the brand's own boutique-style channels in Europe, North America, and the Gulf.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
