Au Pays De La Fleur D’Oranger
Exceptional perfumes from the orange blossom country of the Côte d'Azur.
Au Pays de la Fleur d'Oranger was founded in 1998 by Virginie and Antoine Roux in La Colle-sur-Loup, just east of Grasse, on land where the Roux family has cultivated bitter orange for generations — Antoine's grandfather served as flower commissioner to the Grasse perfume factories. The house's name and identity hinge on a single living landmark: what is reportedly the oldest surviving bitter-orange tree in the village. Compositions are built around neroli, orange blossom and petitgrain, expanded outward into soft florals, light gourmands and a small line of home fragrance. Marie Duchene and Jean-Claude Gigodot have signed most of the catalogue. The brand sits in the mid-niche bracket, distributed through Provençal boutiques, French department stores and a measured international network of specialist retailers.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
