Aura of Kazakhstan
Central Asian niche with global noses.
Aura of Kazakhstan was launched in 2020 as the first dedicated Kazakh niche fragrance house with international ambitions, commissioning world-class perfumers to translate the country's vast and varied landscapes — steppes, Tian Shan peaks, Caspian shores — into sophisticated compositions. The project recruited Bertrand Duchaufour, Sarah McCartney, Lucas Sieuzac, and Angéline Leporini, a roster that signals serious investment and genuine niche credentials. Each fragrance maps a distinct Kazakh territory or cultural reference, functioning as both olfactory portrait and national storytelling. The house has created genuine buzz in the international niche community, recognised for the unusual combination of Central Asian subject matter and French-calibre perfumery talent. Aura of Kazakhstan represents a new model: place-driven commissioning by emerging markets that want world-class execution.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
