Ayala Moriel
Ayala Moriel is the eponymous house of perfumer Ayala Moriel, an Israeli-Canadian nose who established her studio in Vancouver in 2001 before later relocating operations to Clil in Western Galilee. The catalogue works almost exclusively in natural materials, organised into themed collections — Tea, Language of Flowers, Film Noir — alongside one-off bespoke commissions. Moriel composes every fragrance herself, and the house has been an early and consistent voice in the natural-perfumery movement, with output pitched to collectors rather than mass distribution. Releases such as Espionage, Charisma and Roses et Chocolat lean into chypre, leather and gourmand structures built from absolutes and tinctures, and the studio also runs perfumery courses alongside its fragrance line.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
