Azalea Parfums
Haute perfumery without constraints.
Azalea Parfums was born in Paris in 2017, founded by Mona Shehata with the backing of a team carrying more than fifty years of combined experience in the fragrance industry. The house set out to restore the spirit of haute perfumery to an era of cautious marketing: perfumers are given carte blanche with no creative constraints, the finest sustainable raw materials are sourced without compromise, and the results are offered at prices more accessible than the prestige tier typically demands. The approach has attracted acclaimed noses including Quentin Bisch and Rosendo Mateu, whose work here reflects the kind of unguarded ambition that larger houses can rarely accommodate. Despite its Italian roots and Parisian founding, Azalea positions itself as genuinely international — exhibited at Pitti Fragranze and distributed across niche retail globally. The eco-conscious packaging extends the brand's commitment to responsibility without softening its rebellious creative stance. Each fragrance is conceived as an unrestricted artistic statement, making Azalea one of the more quietly radical houses to emerge from the late 2010s niche wave.
