Aziza World Fragrances was established in 2012 by Aziza Poggi, an independent perfumer working from her own olfactory perspective shaped by diverse cultural exposure. Poggi functions as sole creative voice — formulating, blending, and presenting each fragrance without the mediation of a creative director or commercial brief. The house's name signals its scope: compositions draw on olfactory references from West Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and the Americas without reducing any tradition to surface ornament. Poggi's direct engagement with materials — raw resins, traditional attars, botanical absolutes — informs a catalog that rewards patient exploration. Distribution remains small and primarily direct, preserving the house's independence.
