Baug Sons
Baug Sons was established in 1993 in the UAE by Firoz Baugwala, a perfumer of South Asian descent whose family history connects to the centuries-old attar trading culture of the Indian subcontinent. Operating under the My Perfumes Factory umbrella, the house produces accessible oriental fragrances, attars, and bakhoor products serving Gulf markets and the large South Asian diaspora community across the UAE and broader Middle East. Baugwala's background bridges Indian attar tradition and Gulf fragrance culture, informing a product range that spans traditional rose and sandalwood-based attars to more modern oriental spray fragrances. The house occupies the accessible and mid-market tier, offering products accessible to everyday consumers alongside premium attar formats. My Perfumes Factory's manufacturing infrastructure allows Baug Sons to maintain material quality standards appropriate for the Gulf consumer, who typically expects richly scented, long-lasting compositions in both traditional and contemporary formats.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
