Bebe
Bebe Stores Inc. was founded in 1976 by San Francisco entrepreneur Manny Mashouf with a vision for chic, contemporary womenswear that captured a distinctly modern femininity. Building on the brand's fashion credentials, Bebe extended into fragrance beginning in 2009, creating a line of scents that translate its sensibility — confident, urban, unapologetically feminine — into wearable form. The inaugural Bebe eau de parfum was composed by Francis Kurkdjian, a significant commissioning choice that gave the debut instant credibility. Subsequent releases have worked with Christian Provenzano, Patricia Choux, and other established perfumers to build a coherent accessible-tier fragrance portfolio. Bebe Stores now operates as a purely digital retail brand, having closed its physical stores, but the fragrance line continues to be distributed through department store and online fragrance retail channels.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
