Béjar
Béjar is a Spanish niche perfume house founded in 2014 by Barcelona-based perfumer Ramón Béjar, a long-standing figure in the Spanish fragrance trade who has also developed scents for several other houses. The line is positioned in the upper niche segment and trades on a distinctly Mediterranean sensibility — citrus groves, sea air, leather and resinous woods filtered through a contemporary French structural sensibility. Compositions are developed in collaboration with perfumer Céline Guivarch and others, and the house is known for its theatrical, large-format flacons in coloured glass and wax-sealed presentation. Distribution runs through high-end niche perfumeries across Europe, the Gulf and Asia, and the brand sits among a small group of contemporary Spanish houses pushing beyond the country's classical lavender and cologne traditions.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
