Bella Vita
India's largest new-age luxury perfume brand.
Bella Vita was founded in Gurugram, Haryana, in 2018 by Aakash Anand alongside his mother Anju Anand and sister Aashima Anand, with a conviction that Indian consumers deserved world-class fragrances without the import premium of European designer prices. Aakash Anand — who studied at Northumbria University in the United Kingdom — sourced fragrance oils from established perfumery suppliers in France, Spain, and Italy to produce compositions that match the intensity and character of premium Western perfumes at a fraction of the cost. Within three years Bella Vita had reached one hundred crore rupees in revenue; by 2022 the brand received a ten-million-dollar investment and achieved a valuation recognised on multiple Indian D2C ranking lists. Today Bella Vita is widely described as India's largest new-age perfume brand, with an annual revenue exceeding six hundred crore rupees, a catalogue of over thirty perfume varieties spanning feminine, masculine, and unisex formats, and a significant presence on Indian e-commerce platforms and social media. All products are IFRA-certified and produced cruelty-free. The brand's success represents a broader shift in Indian consumer culture toward premium-positioned domestic fragrance labels as alternatives to imported luxury goods.
