Bentley
Crewe leather and walnut, translated to scent.
Bentley is the British luxury car marque founded by W. O. Bentley in 1919 and now part of the Volkswagen Group, with its factory still in Crewe. The fragrance arm is a separate licensing operation: since 2013 the Lalique Group has produced and distributed Bentley Fragrances under a long-term agreement, translating the car brand's leather-and-walnut interior cues into scent. The collection is dominated by men's fragrances — Bentley For Men, Intense, Absolute, Beyond, the Lalique-cut Crystal Editions — with heavier flankers built around oud, leather, tobacco and dark woods, and a smaller women's offering. Bottles often borrow Bentley's diamond-knurled metalwork, and pricing runs from accessible designer to crystal-flacon collector tiers. The line suits drivers, aspirants and anyone who wants a frankly masculine British signature.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
