Bill Blass
American Seventh Avenue elegance bottled in 1978.
Bill Blass Parfums is the fragrance arm of the legendary American Seventh Avenue fashion house founded by Indiana-born designer Bill Blass, whose debut feminine fragrance launched in 1978 brought the same understated elegance that defined his couture to the world of fine perfumery. Blass — known for dressing the wives of Presidents and captains of industry — translated his design philosophy into scent: classic compositions built with genuine quality, restrained glamour, and a timeless sensibility more interested in lasting impression than in trend-chasing. Perfumers Sophia Grojsman, Jean Claude Delville, and Pierre-Constantin Guéros shaped key releases across the catalogue, including the celebrated Nude and Amazing. Following the designer's death in 2002 and the label's various ownership changes, the fragrance line has continued under the Bill Blass Group, preserving an archive of American prestige perfumery that ranges from luminous greens and powdery florals to warm spicy orientals.
