Björk & Berries
The magic of Swedish nature.
Björk & Berries was born in 2012 as a small creative project in northern Sweden, guided by founder Isabelle Lewenhaupt's vision to capture the sensory world of Fäviken, her family's farm in the Swedish north. Björk — birch — is both the brand's namesake and its spiritual anchor: a tree that Lewenhaupt regards as life-giving, its resinous, papery, and slightly smoky character threading through many of the house's compositions. Working at the intersection of Scandinavian ecological philosophy and French perfumery technique, the brand creates fragrances that evoke pine forests, late-summer berries, frost-crisp air, and the hushed green light of Nordic midsummer. All products are 100 per cent vegan and cruelty-free, made in Sweden and France using organic fermented alcohol, and the house has been explicit that sustainability is a founding principle rather than a recent addition. What began as a fragrance project has grown to include skincare and body care, each range sharing the same botanical foundation and Nordic sensibility. The brand's mission, in Lewenhaupt's own words, is to preserve and share the magic of Swedish nature and beauty traditions with the world.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
