Blackcliff Parfums
Luxury fragrances rooted in Barbados.
Blackcliff Parfums was founded by Tomilson Bynoe in Barbados in 2021, representing one of the few Caribbean luxury fragrance houses with genuine island provenance. Bynoe draws on Barbadian botanical heritage — sea salt, tropical florals, vetiver, and woods — to create compositions that capture island sensory memory without resorting to tourist-facing clichés. The house is among the first Caribbean niche perfumeries to pursue international distribution and critical engagement with the global fragrance community. Each release reflects considered material selection and a perspective shaped by Caribbean history, culture, and landscape. Packaging and branding position Blackcliff as luxury rather than artisan craft, aspiring to stand alongside established niche houses on quality and price. The house is still building its catalog in its early years, with notable releases gaining attention in niche fragrance circles for their originality and geographic distinctiveness.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
