bodycology
Drugstore body mists from the Dr. Teal's parent company.
Bodycology is the body-fragrance brand owned by Advanced Beauty Systems, the Dallas-based personal-care company that also operates Dr. Teal's. Launched in 2003 and aimed squarely at the drugstore and mass-market grocery channel, the line covers fragrance mists, body washes, lotions, and body butters in scent profiles that track whichever gourmand or floral note is moving through the wider retail market: strawberry cheesecake, whipped vanilla, cherry blossom, coconut. Formulas are inexpensive and refresh frequently; the typical wear is short and the projection is soft, in line with how the products are intended to function. There is no perfumer credit list, no editorial program, and very little press footprint beyond retail listings. The brand suits everyday body-spray use in the same drugstore tier as Bath & Body Works flankers and Cantu adjacents, and is largely irrelevant to fine-fragrance discussion. Including it here is a matter of completeness.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
