Botanicae is a Spanish artisan perfumery house founded at the end of 2018 in Murcia by a team whose immersion in fragrance began in 2012 in the Middle East, where years of travel across the Emirates, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon, India, and Pakistan shaped an unusually wide cultural vocabulary. Returning to the Mediterranean, the founders channelled that accumulated knowledge into a house committed to making artistic perfumery accessible without the overhead of conventional luxury marketing. Every fragrance is handcrafted in small batches from sustainable, vegan, and cruelty-free ingredients, and each composition begins with an authentic story — a journey, a culture, a place — distilled into scent rather than invented for a brief. The house is transparent about its ethics: honest pricing, sustainable materials, and a social commitment embedded in operations from the beginning. Botanicae has built a community of 34,000 followers on Instagram drawn by the combination of genuine craft, narrative depth, and prices that make niche perfumery genuinely democratic.
