Brûmée
Fragrance in the fog of feeling.
Brûmée is a French independent fragrance house founded in 2021 by Anne-Claire Walch, whose name references the French word for mist — a fitting metaphor for the hazy, poetic quality of the house's compositions. Walch approaches fragrance as an introspective medium, creating scents that evoke liminal states: dusk, morning fog, half-sleep. The catalog is small and deliberately paced, with each release treated as a complete artistic statement rather than a line extension. Brûmée operates outside the mainstream niche-retail circuit, cultivating a dedicated following through direct sales and a small number of curated stockists. The house represents the quieter, more personal side of contemporary French indie perfumery.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
