Byron Parfums was born in 2016 when Yann Derriennic — a self-taught perfumer who goes by the name LARCHITECT — crossed the threshold from beat-making and street culture into fine fragrance. Raised in the northern suburbs of Paris, he came up through graffiti, rap composition, and hip-hop choreography before applying that same ear for rhythm and contrast to scent construction. Byron occupies a singular space within French niche perfumery: where classical Grasse craftsmanship meets the raw, unfiltered energy of urban culture. LARCHITECT approaches each formula the way a producer approaches a track — layering raw materials for maximum impact, seeking what he describes as the olfactory equivalent of an addictive hook.
