BZ Parfums
Ukrainian fragrance since 1993, rooted in Slavic tradition.
BZ Parfums was founded in 1993 by Bohdan Zubchenko in Ukraine in the immediate aftermath of Soviet dissolution, a period when newly independent Eastern European consumers gained access to open cosmetic markets for the first time. The house established itself as a domestic fragrance producer offering accessible compositions to a market previously dominated by Soviet-era output and expensive imported Western brands. Over three decades BZ Parfums has developed a broad catalog that includes florals, orientals, and aromatic fougères suited to Eastern European olfactory preferences—warmer, more resinous base structures than prevailing Western trends. The brand distributes across Ukraine and neighboring Slavic markets through pharmacy and beauty retail networks. BZ Parfums represents the resilience and continuity of Ukrainian fragrance culture through periods of profound political and economic upheaval, maintaining local production and direct connection to its regional consumer base.
