Chantal Thomass
French femininity with a knowing wink.
Chantal Thomass is a French fashion and fragrance house founded in 1975 by designer Chantal Thomass and her husband Bruce Thomass. The label built its reputation on luxurious lingerie that celebrated the female body with wit and theatrical flourish — ruffles, lace, and a knowing seductiveness that never slipped into vulgarity. The fragrance line extends this aesthetic directly: compositions tend to be feminine, a little daring, and built around powdery florals and warm orientals that suit a glamorous evening register. The house's most recognisable perfume is Osez Moi, an eau de parfum that captures the brand's balance of sophisticated French femininity and playful irreverence. Chantal Thomass fragrances are positioned at the accessible end of the designer spectrum, available in department stores and the brand's own boutiques. After financial difficulties in the early 2000s, Thomass relaunched her label and has continued creating fashion and fragrance with sustained creative independence.
