Chevignon
Le goût de l'aventure.
Chevignon was founded in Paris in 1979 by Guy Azoulay as an Americana-leaning leather and casualwear label — the surname came from a friend whose name simply sounded right — and built its identity around recreated 1950s biker jackets, the migratory-bird logo and the Tog's varsity line that broke through in 1984. By the late 1980s it was one of the biggest French casual brands, exporting heavily across Europe. Fragrance has always been a licensed extension rather than a core activity, with men's and women's eaux de toilette positioned in the accessible designer tier alongside other French casualwear brands. The label has changed hands repeatedly — passing through Naf Naf, the Vivarte group and current Chinese ownership under Fashion Plus — and the perfume catalogue reflects that turnover, with sporadic releases rather than a continuous house signature.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
