Code Deco
Fragrance structured like music.
Code Deco was established in Singapore in 2011 by Gauri Garodia, an Indian-born perfumer and creative director who conceived the house around a musical model for fragrance construction. Garodia treats top, heart, and base notes as harmonic layers in a composition — each one designed to resonate with the others in counterpoint rather than simple linear progression. The approach produces fragrances of unusual structural depth that reward attention across their development. Notable releases include Namaset and Prism, compositions that move between cool transparency and warm resinous depth. Singapore's position as a crossroads between South Asian, East Asian, and European influence is reflected in Garodia's palette. Code Deco sells primarily through direct channels and Southeast Asian niche retailers, maintaining an identity as a thoughtful independent house rather than an aspirational lifestyle brand.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
