Contém 1g is a Brazilian cosmetics company founded in 1984 in São João da Boa Vista by Rogério Rubini, originally focused on makeup before adding perfume to its catalogue in the early 1990s. At its peak the brand operated some 120 retail points across Brazil through a franchise model expanded in 2000. The perfume line covers women's and men's eau de toilette and eau de parfum at accessible price points, often built around fruity-floral and gourmand structures sized for the Brazilian mass market. Releases such as Meu Sonho remain catalogue staples. The company entered judicial recovery in 2018 and was acquired by Sallve in 2023, which now stewards the relaunch. Contém 1g sits at the affordable, drugstore-adjacent end of the Brazilian fragrance landscape.
