Croatian Perfume House
Croatia's first dedicated perfume house.
A small Čakovec-based perfumery founded in December 2017, billed as the first dedicated fragrance manufacturer in Croatia. The house is led by perfumer Tomislav Vrbanec and operates partly as a contract atelier — composing and producing private-label fragrances for other brands across Europe — and partly as a creator of its own collections inspired by Croatian geography. Releases group around the country's coastline and cities: Split, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Korčula, Zagreb. The compositions tend toward Mediterranean reference points — fig, immortelle, sea salt, pine, citrus — rendered as approachable eau de parfum rather than avant-garde niche statements. The house also forms part of a wider European Perfume House network operating out of London. It suits wearers curious about regional perfumery or looking for a souvenir bottle from the Adriatic.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
