Dalibor Parfums was launched in Brazil in 2022 by perfumer Diego Silva, who chose an evocative invented name — Dalibor — rather than his own to give the house an autonomous identity distinct from his personal practice. Silva works in the expressive, technically demanding register associated with the new generation of self-taught South American independent perfumers: compositions are architectural and opinionated, refusing the smoothed-out quality of commercial fragrance. The portfolio explores leather, tar, smoke, and animalic materials alongside more conventional florals and woods, always with a willingness to be challenging. Dalibor Parfums has gained recognition in the Brazilian niche community and among international collectors drawn to the house's uncompromising character. It represents the vitality of Latin American niche perfumery in the 2020s.
