De Ruy
A century of fine perfume from Andalusia.
De Ruy Perfumes is a Spanish family company with more than a century of continuous operation, headquartered in Alcalá de Guadaíra, near Seville, and maintaining a second production facility in Antequera, Málaga. The business specialises in the development, manufacture, and distribution of fine fragrances, cosmetics, and personal-hygiene products, offering products in over a hundred and fifty countries with a current capacity exceeding two hundred million units per year. The house is best known in Spain through its own brands — Gisèle Denis, Brummel, Farala, and Agua de Luna among them — as well as extensive licensed and private-label work for international clients. Sustainability is a stated priority; the Alcalá de Guadaíra campus runs entirely on renewable energy and the company holds a Zero Waste, Zero Emissions designation. De Ruy represents the industrially scaled, family-controlled tradition of Spanish mass-prestige perfumery.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
