Deborah
Italian beauty made accessible since 1903.
Deborah Milano is an Italian cosmetics company founded in 1903 and now in its fourth generation, with its make-up identity formalised under the Deborah Milano name from 1962 onward. The house is a fixture of Italian drugstore and department-store cosmetics, best known for lipsticks, mascaras, and powders, and the fragrance line sits alongside that wider make-up portfolio rather than standing as a freestanding perfume house. The Deborah Group was acquired in 2018 by Sodalis Group, which kept the brand under Italian ownership while expanding distribution across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Perfumes carrying the Deborah name typically follow the line's broader aesthetic: soft, polished, mass-market florals and lightly powdery oriental accords aimed at wearers already buying the make-up. The brand reads as a long-running example of Made-in-Italy mass beauty rather than niche perfumery proper.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
