Delikad
Brazilian mass-market fragrance, home of Wild Musk.
Delikad is a Brazilian mass-market fragrance house with roots in the original Coty operation in Brazil, founded by former Coty partners to produce locally manufactured affordable scent for the domestic market. The brand is most closely associated with Wild Musk — a classic fragrance produced in Brazil for over forty years, originally formulated with animal-derived musks in the 1970s and 1980s before transitioning to synthetic substitutes when animal-origin materials were prohibited. The reformulated Wild Musk Oil remains the brand's most internationally recognised product, sold as a concentrated oil with pheromone-marketing positioning. Delikad has expanded beyond its flagship into a broader range of body fragrances, deo parfums, and feminine scents for the Brazilian domestic market. Perfumer Juliana Tolotti is credited with fragrance development on the modern product line. The brand operates at a price point well below international mass-market players, reflecting its positioning within the Brazilian everyday-beauty sector. Products are widely available across Brazilian pharmacies, supermarkets, and beauty retailers, as well as through e-commerce channels for the Brazilian diaspora internationally. The brand's connection to Wild Musk gives it unusual name recognition for a domestic mass-market label.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
