DHAMMA PERFUMES
Six decades of Gulf fragrance legacy.
DHAMMA PERFUMES was founded in 1964 by Abdul Mateen Dhamma, making it one of the longer-established Gulf fragrance houses and a witness to the region's transformation from trading-era perfumery to modern commercial production. The house carries traditional expertise in oud, attar, and amber-based compositions accumulated over six decades, combining that heritage with accessible pricing that serves both regional customers and the growing international interest in Arabic fragrance culture. The Dhamma family name has remained associated with the brand throughout its history, giving it a sense of personal custodianship unusual in modern fragrance. The portfolio ranges from classical incense-based compositions to more modern alcohol extraits, covering the full spectrum of Gulf fragrance use from daily wear through ceremonial occasions.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
