Divona
Fragrance with a purpose, made in California.
Divona was launched in 2015 by Mylene Paquin, an award-winning creative director, and later partnered with Kayte Torreao da Costa, whose operational background provided structural depth alongside Paquin's creative vision. The California-based brand positions fragrance as a vehicle for social impact: each purchase directs two dollars toward care packages for survivors of abuse and trafficking, in partnership with organisations including Redefining Refuge and the Canadian Women's Foundation. Formulas are paraben-free, cruelty-free, and phthalate-free, reflecting contemporary conscious-beauty standards. The twelve-fragrance collection ranges across the olfactory spectrum from smoky and intense to bright and fresh, organised to offer genuine variety rather than a single signature style. Divona occupies the increasingly visible category of purpose-driven accessible fragrance — brands where the ethical proposition is inseparable from the product proposition, and where affordability is part of the brand's democratic philosophy. The house speaks to consumers who want fragrance purchases to mean something beyond personal scent preference.
