Dofta
Swedish natural fragrances inspired by childhood in nature.
Dofta — the Swedish word for something beautifully fragranced — was founded by Anna Riller in Halmstad, Sweden and launched commercially in 2018. After years of world travel, Riller returned to the Swedish countryside and channelled memories of Nordic nature into a fragrance line built entirely from scratch rather than using prefabricated bases. Each formula is designed without paraffin, phthalates, SLS, SLES, or synthetic dyes, reflecting Riller's commitment to clean, botanically oriented composition. The fragrances evoke the specific textures of Scandinavian outdoor life: cold coastal air, forest floors, wildflowers in fjord light, and the quiet warmth of interior spaces insulated against northern winters. The brand's approach is resolutely personal — these are not laboratory-assembled concepts but direct translations of lived sensory experience into bottle form. Dofta's accessible pricing places serious botanical formulation within reach of a broad Swedish and Nordic consumer base, positioning the house as a quiet alternative to both mass fragrance and imported prestige perfumery.
