Dr. Taffi
Tuscan botanicals, with olive oil at the centre.
Dr. Taffi is a Tuscan natural cosmetics and perfume company founded in 1987 by Enio Taffi, a biologist and herbalist who built the brand around the plants and traditions of the Maremma. Production sits in southern Tuscany, where Tuscan virgin olive oil serves as the binding element across soaps, lotions, and the Acqua di Bolgheri perfume line. The fragrance work is recognisably Mediterranean: bergamot, fig, cypress, herbs, and sea-air florals, presented in restrained packaging that reads more apothecary than couture. Certifications by AIAB and Bioagricert place the house on the organic-natural cosmetics shelf, alongside its Lav and vegan credentials. Dr. Taffi sells through its own boutiques, spas, and Italian pharmacies. The catalogue feels less like a perfume brand than a regional Tuscan house with scent as one of several outputs.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
