Dsquared2
Born in Canada, made in Italy.
Dsquared2 is the Milan-based fashion house of Canadian twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, who debuted their menswear collection in 1995 with backing from Diesel founder Renzo Rosso and built the label on a self-described mix of Canadian iconography, Italian tailoring and overt sensuality. Womenswear followed in 2003, and the brand has since extended into accessories, eyewear and licensed fragrance. Perfume is produced under standard fashion-licence arrangements and tracks the house's runway: warm, slightly excessive, often gourmand. He Wood and She Wood drew on cedar and violet to set a quieter signature; later pillars (Wood, Potion, Ceresia, Original Wood) lean rich and shareable. Compositions stay accessible-prestige rather than niche. It suits a wearer who likes the Caten brothers' brand of theatrical Italo-Canadian glamour — fragrance as a wardrobe accessory, not a meditation.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
