Founded in 2004 by Ensar Oud (originally under the name Oriscent, rebranded in 2012), the house built its reputation by sourcing wild agarwood directly from forests across Cambodia, Laos, Borneo, Papua and Assam, and distilling small batches by traditional hydrodistillation rather than industrial methods. The catalogue ranges from pure single-origin oud oils to layered attars and alcohol-based perfumes, and prices reach into the thousands per tola for the rarest distillations. Compositions emphasise the natural complexity of the raw material — barnyard, fruit, leather and incense facets that mass-market oud rarely captures.
