Evody Parfums
Evody Parfums is a Parisian fragrance house founded in 2008 by mother-and-daughter team Régine Droin and Cérine Vasseur, who had opened their niche perfumery boutique — also called Evody — in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district in 2006. The name derives from Evodia, an Asian genus sometimes called the tree of a hundred flowers; the etymology connects through Greek roots directly to the word perfume. Droin's thirty years in the cosmetics industry and Vasseur's affinity for haute couture and fragrance formed the practical and aesthetic foundation of the house. The Evody collection is structured around two lines: Collection Première, which interprets the founders' personal memories, and Collection D'Ailleurs, which takes distant places as its points of departure. Compositions are high-concentration, built from carefully selected raw materials, and tend toward a quiet, refined sensibility — emotional rather than spectacular, anchored in recognizable human experience. The brand distributes through niche perfumery retailers across Europe, including its own Parisian boutique, and has international stockists in North America and Asia.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
