Fabled Fragrances is a queer-owned independent perfume studio based in Bloomington, Minnesota, specialising in handcrafted artisan scents and cosmetics drawn from the worlds of mythology, history, fantasy, and folklore. The shop was born from the founder's frustration with mainstream fragrances heavy on alcohol and synthetic accord — a desire to create perfumes that smell genuinely beautiful, carry interesting stories, and avoid harsh chemicals. Each blend is made by hand in small batches, using quality ingredients and building compositions around narrative rather than trend. Alongside eaux de parfum the studio produces lip balms, glosses, and eyeshadow, extending the brand's imaginative universe into colour. Operating primarily through an Etsy shop and a devoted social following, Fabled Fragrances represents the creative, community-driven side of American indie perfumery — personal, accessible, and unapologetically eccentric in its inspirations.
