Fleurage Perfume Atelier
Australian niche botanical atelier.
Fleurage Perfume Atelier was established in 2008 in Melbourne, Australia by Emma Leah and Robert Luxford, making it one of the earlier entrants in the wave of Australian independent niche perfumery that has gained international attention since. Emma Leah functions as the house perfumer, working primarily with natural and naturally-derived materials to create compositions that draw on Australian botanical character — eucalyptus, wattle, boronia, and the particular quality of Southern Ocean air — alongside more internationally familiar flower and wood accords. The atelier model means production is genuinely small-scale, with a personal relationship between perfumer and client central to the brand experience. Fleurage has built a loyal Australian following and sells internationally to collectors who seek out Pacific Rim perspectives on niche fragrance.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
