Florascent
Florascent is a small German perfumery founded in 1991 by Roland Tentunian and based in Karlsruhe, where the team formulates entirely with natural raw materials — essential oils, absolutes, resins, and house-made tinctures. Synthetic aroma chemicals are absent from the line by deliberate choice. The catalogue is divided between the Apothecary range — single-note studies of materials such as vetiver, sandalwood, and rose — and more layered Aqua, Parfum, and Soliflore compositions. Bottles are kept apothecary-plain: clear glass, paper labels, no marketing imagery. Production is handmade and hand-bottled in modest batches. Florascent occupies a quiet corner of the European natural-perfumery world, sold mainly through organic concept stores and natural-cosmetics retailers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland rather than through mainstream perfumery distribution.
