Franck Boclet
Paris niche, with a rock-and-roll bias.
Franck Boclet is a Paris-based niche house launched in 2012 by the French menswear designer of the same name, who had previously built collections for Kenzo, Ungaro, Smalto and Arrow before opening his own ready-to-wear label in 2010. The fragrance project arrived two years later as an extension of his interest in contemporary art, music and 1980s rock iconography. The collection is structured into single-note pillars — Patchouli, Tobacco, Vanilla, Cocaine, Rock'n'Rose — most rendered with high concentration and a deliberately edgy, urban energy. Compositions are signed by Bruno Hervé, Mélanie Leroux, Fabienne Bourcier, Alexis Dadier and Sidonie Lancesseur. A flagship boutique in Paris, opened in 2019, also stocks the clothing line. It suits a wearer who reads niche perfumery as adjacent to a music or art subculture rather than to traditional luxury.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
