Frassai
Slow perfumery from the South.
Frassai emerged from Buenos Aires in 2013 as a deliberate act of resistance against the velocity of mainstream fragrance production. Founder and perfumer Natalia Outeda composes in extended cycles, allowing raw materials and accords months to settle before any release reaches the public. Her work draws from the Argentine sensory landscape—Patagonian winds, native botanicals, the particular quality of southern hemisphere light—rather than from European fragrance conventions. Standout releases include Bruma, an atmospheric study in mineral and wood, and En la Selva Hay, which captures the density of subtropical vegetation. Outeda's approach rewards patient wearing: fragrances that reveal complexity slowly rather than projecting immediately. The house operates on a limited-release model and maintains direct relationships with its audience, treating each composition as a considered statement from a single, deeply intentional creative voice. Frassai represents one of South America's most distinctive contributions to contemporary niche perfumery.

DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
