Fresh Line
Greek natural cosmetics rooted in herbal tradition.
Fresh Line was established in Athens in 1992 by Mayra Vagioni Stasinopoulou, drawing on the heritage of Ancient Greek aromatherapy and, more personally, on the homemade beauty recipes of her grandmother on the island of Zakynthos—preparations using pure garden ingredients that reflected the long Mediterranean tradition of herbal self-care. From a small family operation, the brand grew into a company producing over three hundred natural cosmetics across face, body, and hair categories, with all manufacturing retained in Greece. Fragrance in the Fresh Line range is inseparable from the broader wellness and botanical philosophy: scents are formulated using essential oils, organic plant butters, and herbal extracts rather than synthetic aromatic compounds, in a register that is closer to aromatherapy than to high perfumery. The compositions celebrate Greek flora—herbs, citrus, wildflowers—and are positioned as daily care products whose sensory pleasure is a natural extension of their skin benefit rather than an end in itself. For the traveller to Greece, Fresh Line has become a reliable souvenir proposition: genuinely local, genuinely natural, and offering a credible connection to the country's ancient relationship with aromatic plants that the mass-market international brands cannot replicate. For the fragrance enthusiast, it occupies a distinct category from niche or artisan perfumery—more herbalist than parfumeur—but represents a coherent and well-executed vision of what Greek botanical craftsmanship can be when applied to the consumer beauty market.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
