FZOTIC
Fragrance conceived as art, made in San Francisco.
FZOTIC is the San Francisco fragrance studio of artist-perfumer Bruno Fazzolari, launched in 2017 after several years of selling bottles through his artist website to an audience that grew without any conventional fragrance industry involvement. Fazzolari studied painting and sculpture at the San Francisco Art Institute, and his path to perfumery was genuinely lateral: drawn to scent as a form of colour, he began making fragrances to accompany his paintings and only gradually recognised that the work was as serious as anything on canvas. His fragrances have been exhibited in galleries and are held in the permanent collection of the Berkeley Art Museum. The studio operates without outside investment, growing at its own pace and guided entirely by what Fazzolari finds interesting — technically obsessive, materially generous, and constitutionally indifferent to what the market expects.

Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
