Ga-De
Israeli beauty, exported quietly.
GA-DE was founded in Israel in 1985 as a colour-cosmetics and skincare house, then began exporting in 1990 and gradually added a fragrance line as it expanded into Europe, Australia and North America. The catalogue today runs to several hundred SKUs across makeup, skin and scent, sold through pharmacies, beauty chains and duty-free. The perfume side of the house is small but consistent: bright, easy-wearing florals and fruity ambers in the affordable mainstream register, with packaging that mirrors the makeup line's metallic and pastel codes. Releases tend to be department-store style commercial scents rather than perfumer-credited compositions. GA-DE suits wearers shopping the broader beauty aisle — a fragrance to round out a makeup purchase rather than a destination niche house.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
