Gather Perfume / Amrita Aromatics
Gather Perfume, also operating as Amrita Aromatics, is an American natural and botanical fragrance house founded in 2005 by Ananda Wilson. Wilson's background in herbal medicine and aromatherapy shaped the house's founding philosophy: fragrance as wellness practice rather than decoration, built on the therapeutic and energetic properties of plant materials rather than their purely aesthetic application. She works exclusively with natural materials — essential oils, CO2 extracts, attars, and absolutes — sourced from small farms and traditional producers, approaching blending as a craft that respects the integrity of each ingredient. The resulting fragrances are complex and material-honest, often featuring prominent herbal, resinous, and earthy qualities that diverge significantly from the synthetic clarity of mainstream niche. Gather distributes through its own direct channel and a small number of natural-beauty specialists, reaching the overlap between the wellness community and the serious fragrance collector. Wilson's work predates the natural-perfumery revival by several years, making her one of the more established practitioners in the American natural fragrance space.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
