Halloween
Halloween is a Spanish fragrance brand launched in 1997 by fashion designer Jesús del Pozo under the Perfumes y Diseño banner. The original Halloween woman's eau de toilette, composed by Max Gavarry, blends aquatic sea notes and violet with tuberose, magnolia, and incense, constructing an atmosphere of nocturnal mystery that set the tone for the brand's later catalog. The bottle, shaped like a crescent moon, became one of the more recognized flacons of late-1990s accessible perfumery. Del Pozo built his fashion house in Madrid from 1974 onwards, and the Halloween fragrance line became a commercially successful extension of his aesthetic, reaching mainstream department stores across Europe and Latin America. The line has expanded over the decades to include multiple flankers and a men's range, maintaining a gothic-romantic identity while keeping prices firmly in the accessible tier. Perfumes y Diseño, headquartered in Spain, continues to develop and distribute the Halloween collection. The brand remains one of the most widely recognized Spanish fragrance licenses in global mass-market retail.
DNA over time
Each column is an era. Each colored band shows that family’s share of accord weight across every perfume the house released in that window. Bigger band = the house leaned harder on that family.
